In Phantom of the Kill, the combat system is turn-based and takes place on a square battlefield. Each of your units has a maximum number of squares it can move to carry out an attack, which you can watch in lush detail. When you do, you have to keep in mind that not all weapons are equally effective against every enemy. And obviously you also have to consider the level of each unit.
Between combats, the game's story develops in a devastated setting. This is one of Phantom of the Kill's strong points. The game includes tons of anime-style videos where you can watch all the most important events in the story as well as important conversations between the main characters.
Phantom of the Kill is an excellent role-play/strategy combo that's highly reminiscent of the Fire Emblem sagas. That said, in order to play you need a pretty powerful Android and a lot of free memory.
